We offer 15-minute consultations to help you determine whether you would like to hire a lawyer. We will provide some basic legal information that will assist you in deciding your next step.

Legal Fees

If you decide to hire us, you will be required to pay a retainer fee. Following your intake meeting, we will determine the retainer amount based on your particular situation. 

We accept payment by e-transfer only. 

Legal Aid

We accept Legal Aid certificates for criminal law matters. To apply for Legal Aid, call 1‑800‑668‑8258.

About Michaela

Michaela is a dedicated and innovative lawyer with experience not only in criminal law, but also family law, civil litigation and immigration law. Michaela earned her law degree from Western University and studied psychology and criminology at the University of Toronto.

Michaela recently moved to Bruce County and quickly fell in love with the area. She appreciates the change in pace from city living. In her spare time, Michaela likes to play hockey, bike, and explore local hiking trails. During the pandemic she has taken up cross-stitching and puzzling.

Michaela is a highly qualified lawyer with experience in a range of legal matters. She is always keen to hear from prospective clients. Whatever the matter at hand, she is here to handle it efficiently and with excellence.
